We are experts in creating order and efficiency. We help clients declutter and organize their personal and professional spaces including homes, offices and digital spaces. We are a woman-owned, husband and wife run business. Our on-site work is physically and mentally demanding and at times we’re in small spaces together for extended periods of time so having a good sense of humor is essential, and it’s important our personalities blend well together.

We are looking for a detail-oriented team member with an appreciation for visual aesthetics and organizational systems. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a small business environment, working outside of an office and outside of a traditional 9-5 workday. These projects will always have a lead organizer and this position would be assisting the lead organizer on these projects.

TASKS
Decluttering and Reorganizing Spaces: Transform and reorganize various spaces, including basements, attics, pantries, playrooms, and offices to optimize functionality and aesthetics.
Home Preparation for Sale: Prepare homes for listing by decluttering, staging, and enhancing the overall style to attract potential buyers.
Relocation Management: Assist with all aspects of relocation projects, from packing and overseeing the move to unpacking and creating organized living or working spaces.
Office Administration: Manage office-related tasks such as organizing paperwork, archiving photos, and maintaining efficient systems for seamless operations.
Item Categorization and Sorting: Methodically sort and categorize items to simplify decision-making and optimize space.
Product and Supply Preparation: Prepare products and supplies for various purposes, ensuring they are readily accessible and organized.
Filing, Folding, and Containing Items: Implement efficient filing systems, fold items neatly, and utilize appropriate containers for better organization.
Manual Labor and General Support: Perform various manual tasks, including moving items, disposing of refuse and donations, loading vehicles, and conducting light cleaning duties as required.
Labeling and Identification: Implement clear labeling to facilitate easy retrieval of items and ensure everything is clearly identified.
Packaging for Donations or Storage: Package items for donation or secure storage, maintaining order and accessibility.
Development of Organizational Systems: Create and implement effective organizational systems to streamline processes and maintain long-term orderliness.

This position is offered as a part-time role, with an expectation of 20 hours of work per week, and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). As a W-2 employee on an hourly basis, you will be compensated for all hours worked. While this role does not qualify for overtime under normal circumstances due to the part-time status, it adheres to all applicable federal and state labor laws regarding employment.
Our organization is dedicated to supporting the professional growth and well-being of our team members, ensuring a balanced and respectful work environment for everyone.
Compensation for this position ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, commensurate with experience. We cover meals while on-site. We do occasionally work on projects that require overnights or longer travel time in which case all travel expenses would be covered.
For this particular role, we are seeking individuals who are not currently operating their own professional organizing business.
